Boys and Girls at their Best

Socialization of gender in children shows the two different types of gender (boy and girl). The different gender roles classify how children are different genders which do different things. As my picture shows that there are two children in a classroom with books and puzzles. The boy is a 6 year old boy who picked a puzzle over coloring in a coloring book. The boy seem to be more happy with a puzzle then coloring. He told me that girls color and boys do not color. I thought that was interesting but the same time very predictable. The girl in the photo pickedcoloring a picture instead of doing a puzzle because she said that she was really good at coloring and she liked to color.When I took the picture I wanted to have a good camera placement so the picture would turn out as if you were there with them. The colors in the photo were dark-gray but there was light shinning through the background which I thought captured the image. There were horizontal lines and vertical lines in the photo but they were harder to seen because of the darkness of the picture which helped to see the children stand out better. The boy and girl shirts were a bright white color, which made them stand out in the dark background. The expressions on the children's faced looked very focus and determined in their tasks. Showing that the boy and the girl were very focused on different uses
of play, shows that any toy that you play with no matter if a girl or boy, you can have fun playing with it.
