Cute Pajams Tehehe

From Jason

My picture is of several pairs of girls' pajamas that are covered in pictures of Tinker Bell and Hannah Montana. This fits the gender stereotype of young women perfectly, that all girls should try to be princesses, wear pretty close, style their hair, and try to be lady-like. Every pair of pajamas were either bright pink or purple, which are considered to be very girlie colors. You don't see any boys running around in pink Hannah Montana pajamas, and if you did you might question their clothing apparel choices, because pink and purple have always been considered girlie colors. I took some time to walk around the toy section of K-mart and it seemed exactly the same. Girls' toys were labeled, and usually littered with pictures of princesses, flowers, and Hannah Montana, who seems to be the president of preteen girls. The colors and designs drawn onto the pajamas just further proves that girls are meant to be "pretty" and "delicate (like a flower)" and men are rugged and masculine.
