The main purpose of this picture is to show how the media portrays the word beauty to the world and how everyone should look. The boy in the background and the magazine behind the faucet are the reasons for this girl going through the trouble of "looking good." In the mirror the girl is looking at the boy's picture, in a way asking him if he likes what he sees so far. The products all over the sink are smaller than the girl because all together they make her who she is. They make her feel confident and complete in the body she is in; she could not be comfortable in just her “natural beauty†because of what the media portrays to everyone. It may be hard to see, but on her leg is says "worth it?" and that is the real question; is it?

In the photo “Worth It”, I believe that everything that’s shown in the picture is true. For example, I know a lot of girls who go out of there way just to impress a guy, even if it’s bad just to get their attention. Also, no girl should give up her life and her beauty inside and out for no guy. It’s not worth it at all. The makeup, magazine, the guy, and the curling iron are all what the guy wants her to look and feel like. She only feels confident because the guy is happy of what he’s got. There are girls in this world who think that that have everything that they have ever wanted but there not happy on the inside. Their ashamed of what they have to do to look good for that one guy. Girls seem to misunderstand that they were born the way they are because that’s how God wanted them to be. Every girl has their own inner beauty and special qualities in their own way, and yet they still fail to understand how happy they could be without having someone to tell them what how to look good for them.
This photo represents what a girl goes through in order to look good for others. The picture of the guy must be a picture of her boyfriend and she goes through this process to please him. The magazine gives the tips on what makes a beautiful woman. She writes worth it on her leg because she shows that what she goes through in order to look the way she does is basically worth it because it gets her the guys.
This photo is perfect to discribes girls getting ready. This shows that many girls get ready to impress guys. The writing on her leg shows that its worth it because the guy will like her more. It should say worth it with the meaning that the girl feels good about herself and in her own skin. This picture also shows that it takes a while for some girls to get ready so they multitask. THe magizine is open to the perfect page that shows that girls always look for dieting tips.
I agree with this photo that girls motivation to look good is for guys. From when we were little we were taught that we need to attract guys so we can get married and have kids. In order to attract men girls have to be pretty this is why many girls spend time on the way they look.
The picture represents the amount of pressure that is put on young women to fit in witht he media images. The girl in the picture is literally changin everything about her self. She is shaving her legs, curling her hair and at the same time lookig in the mirror. I think the mirror represents the deperation to change. SHe is checking herself to see if she has made any progress in her apperance.
This girl probably spends way too much time getting ready in order for people and boys to like her. She has many beauty products and hair products in order to make herself look a certain way. She dresses in a way so that people will thing she is pretty so that she will be accepted and so that people will like her.
