In society boys are considered more likely to take on bullying roles; and to be manlier. Whereas in society view girls to be very innocent and girly and into different things such as fashion and crushes. In this photo you can see a role reversal a 12 year old girl is being the dominant and in control one to where as though the 13 year old boy is weak and not in control of what is being taken place. The main focus point is the girl you can see that she is handling her own, and making the boy look as though he isn’t as masculine as he thinks he is in this case.

Indeed I do grasp the concept of role reversal in this picture. What I also get in this picture is almost a complete gender reversal. The masculinity in which the female is portraying looks dominant over her femininity. That is not only portrayed by her actions in the photo, but it looks by her clothing, hair, and from what I get from the photo her lack of any feminine appeal. This in turn, to me, can trigger this sense of dominance in order to compensate what this girl absolutely think she's without. Society indeed does place labels on gender roles and often plays a major role in the dictation of gender socialization, but in this picture you can definitely see the anger and resentment toward it.
