Here is a young married couple waiting the arrival of their baby. It's their first baby, and they are so excited. As you can probably tell the baby's room is in a little boy theme. This room is filled with all kinds of stuff his parents may need soon to facilitate his growth. I wanted to show this couple joined by marriage, who are starting a family because I am curious as to What does commitment mean to society? Why do we exclude other's from that same happiness. Can this baby fulfill all of his parents hopes and dreams? Socialization starts in the womb!

I beleive that is true in a sort of way that gender socialization begins in the womb. The thing that interest me is a couple that doesnt know what the sex of the baby is. The couple wants it to be a suprise. The couples say its the one good suprise in your life. My excoworker she is going to have a baby my mother and I went to KMart to pick out a present at the time, we didnt know the gender so we bought a gender neutral clothing. If couples dont know the gender of the baby how are they going to gender socialize their child. People say mothers intuition that they know its going to be a girl but what happens if its a boy thats why the couples should buy neutral color clothing for their child. The question I have is why does it matter to start a birth gender socialization.
