What do you think? If this was a girl with two guys kissing her would your opinion change? Again, if it was a girl with two guys do you think the person to the right of them would notice and stare? People look at boys and girls/ men and women differently. When other guys look at this picture what do you think they say... I bet they say "yea he's the man" or "look at the pimp" but if it was a girl people would probably say things like "what a slut".

I think that what this picture is showing perfectly how one sided our society is. I defiantly agree that if it was a different type of situation happening in this picture then the other people around would have made a bigger deal about what was going on and probably would have call the girl names. Our society thinks it is okay for boys or men to act a certain way but the minute a girl or women does the same thing it is looked at completely different and is not okay. It’s not fair to judge people just because of their sex.
This picture genuinely shows the double-standard that is held within society today. And not just sexually, because it can truly go deeper than that. Overall, guys generally tend to have more of an advantage over females. It starts in the home and how guys are able to stay out later or have several different girlfriends etc. and simply have these things be the norm for them. from the home it definitely goes to the workforce (and so on...) so even though this picture only deals with a somewhat sexual aspect. One can think deeper about it and realize how these double standards really affect our views.
I think that this picture is interesting in the fact that it shows how biased our society is. It definately seems ok for two girls to be kissing the guy but as soon as you reverse the effect the girl gets degraded to a slut...Yet the same exact actions are taking place. Sex classification is a huge issue in this case. It's ok for one sex to complete the action but when you flip it then it become unacceptable to society. Why?
