What does this picture say? This rock star is hoping to make it to the big times, and he is going to get all the fame and glory that comes along with being a rock star. This is what that young child is thinking because the media has told him that becoming a rock star is cool. So what is the requirements for being a rock star? Do you have to be a white male, have long hair, and be able to play the guitar? Do you need to have a plane with the name of your band on it? This is what the media is trying to say to this young musician, so this is what it takes to be a male rock star. I edited this picture gray because the young musician wants to be just like the band Led Zeppelin, and by making the young musician gray the poster gray I'm saying that there is very slim possibility of the chance of being a big rock star. I gave the photo this ripple effect around the edges of the photo because I wanted it to look like this is some kind of illusion that the media as created. I also made the young musician pixilated because I feel that it shows that this young person has fallen for the perception of what it takes to be a rock star.
