She wears a fake Gucci hat on her head expressing the limit she willing to take to uphold the image of the “high maintenance beauty” of the school. She hears about Gucci and Channel and the rest of these high designers in the media and on the radio all the time. She’s a fifteen year old female with her head high and a posture that replicates the body of many top models you see today, and every high school boy Dreams of a model so why not be like Tyra Banks. Notice the trash on the ground on the ground she lives in a low income neighborhood but this doesn’t erase the smile of her pearly whites and her red toe nail polish representing her “sexiness”. I snapped her alone to show that the teen girls today feel that it's all about them. And it's a "dark" world trying to out shine the entire group of the "WOMEN" in school.

I feel this picture does capture the true meaning of its all fake more like a front that most young girls put on to fit in. The fake gucci hat represents that fakeness. The wanna be model pose when a image is snaped the pose becomes so natural because thats what some young girls are focused on and its crazy because the reality is look around you. There is darkness in the background and you are all alone all you have is yourself. There is trash around you, and when its all said and done that is what the image apears to look like. But yet you still try to fit in. I say focus on yourself and not on others. Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with living in a low income neighborhood, but just be your own person and not fake. I do feel this was a good repretation of some girls.
I think this represents a lot of girls who come from low income families and their priority is to have nice clothes. I have questioned why people would spend money on clothes when it could go toward something else but after reading this blog i understand that they just want to fit in with society. I think this because even if they don't have a nice house they are still able to look good, and when they go in public all people see is the nice clothes they have and not where they live or their income.
I feel the same way that obmoore feels because its true. there are fake girls out there because they want to be just like other people and not themself.
Though this girl is young, she wants to look like the girls that she sees on tv. She buys fake versions of what she sees these famous women wearing. She also poses just as she sees the women pose on tv. She looks up to the pretty women that she sees on tv and tries to be like them.
