This is a photo of a woman on a motorcycle. The photo was taken to show that gender labels and social demands do not always have to be conformed to. In our society gender labels make this picture out of the ordinary. Many people are raised to have gender bias and may categorize a woman driving a motorcycle to be gender inappropriate. The photo was taken at an odd angle to represent that people might find it to be off kilter for a woman to be involved in a activity that is commonly recognized as male. There are some obstructions in the view of the woman. This view is meant to represent how people may allow stereotypes to cloud their judgment of people. This can prevent people from getting a clear view of what a person is really about. The woman is not dressed in overly masculine or feminine clothing. Her dress is consistent with her gender and task and should not promote any negative stereotyping. The placement of the woman in the photo is set back at a distance with other items in the foreground. This placement represents how people may not be excepting of a woman in a male gender role. They may avoid the woman or keep her at a distance.

This picture is very representitive of social gender roles and how it makes people feel when they are set off balance. The picture being crooked was a good tool to make it known that a woman on a motorcycle is just wierd and needs some getting use to.
Funny I see a woman on a motorcycle these days and I just think that she is saving money and certainly is getting better mileage than my minivan. Who's the smarter woman?
I agree with this photo and what the post says because when i see a woman on a motorcycle i look twice and sometimes stare because it is not the "norm".
This is very common in the world its crazy but they are just like anyone else. girls can be interested in fast cars and racing too.
Usually men are known to ride motorcylces because it is a symbol of strength. This picture of a woman riding a motorcylce shows that women can be just as strong and powerful as men. It does not matter who is riding the motorcylcle. Though it is not something that is seen very often is shows that women also have strength and power is this world.
