In this photo, I try to use many props, actions, and colors to show gender socialization. First off, i use her actions of putting on make up, to show that she is "acting" older. But behind her, is stuffed animals, and light purple walls with butterflies on it, to show in actuality she is young. Also, the angle of the picture, is looking down at her, showing that she is young, and that is how society would look at her. The bright colors, (lime green & hot pink), would represent her trying to be older than she actually is, and the blinds on the opposite wall are white, showing innocence, and her youth.
