The picture i took shows how adults look down on children that doesn't follow the gender script of boys playing with "boy" toys and girls playing with "girl" toys. The toys in the background shows that he has boy toys to play with but he rather play with a stuffed animal that is considered a girls toy. The adult pointing his finge at the boy is assumed to be telling the little no to playing with the stuffed animal which is a negative reinforcement. The negative reinforcement is to let the boy know he is not to play with the stuffed animal but to play with his other toys that is acceptable to the society and isnt looked down apon. I also made the room a little darker to show that there is a angry mood, and also so show a negative or "dark" reinforcement to the little boy.

This photo shows hows from a young age parents start disciplining their kids to follow the gender scripts, but between the two gender culture boy vs. girl the boy is the one who usually gets negative punishments for playing with girl things. They grow up thinking and knowing that if they do girly things then they will get some type of negative punishment for it. For example, if a boy was playing with a teddy bear he would be called a sissy, wimp, mommas boy..etc. But he would be negatively punished by his gaurdian as well.
