In this photo a young woman naturally poses for the camera. I took her picture because she had stood out from the crowd, with her retro dress. I put her right in front of the camera. I wanted to show how she would react. She posed, as u would call,“ seductive”. She chose this seductive pose because it came naturally. The media has shown young women in society, that being seductive is ok. I asked her to pick some flowers, from a centerpiece, on one of the tables. She decided to put a flower in her hair. This is a symbol of feminism. You don’t see men in society putting flowers in their hair. In the media, women put flowers in their hair to show beauty. Then she put flowers on her chest. The flowers on her chest, could also be a symbol of beauty. She could be trying to make herself more beautiful by putting flowers on herself. She could be showing that her beauty is blossoming. She also put a rose in her mouth. With the rose in her mouth, it is saying that she is loving the attention, that she is getting from the camera. Also, she might like the attention from the male figure in the background. With this male in the background, I asked him to put his arm around her. It showed that he is practically saying that she is mine. This is a typical male trying to be protective of her. In today’s society men like women to act in a seductive manner. Some women like to be seen that way, because they know men like it. Women are portrayed as a sexual being, by men and society. In society, women have to seduce men to get what they want. In this picture she could be trying to get what she wants from the male.

I think being seductive at the right time and age is ok but at a young age it not only hurts the girls but it hurts the guys. She is right guys become more possessive the and more macho the more feminine the girl gets, at least in my opinion. The more attention she gets from other guys, the more tough the guys has to be to make sure other guys know she is his. It scary when you flirt with that line because as you get older it can become more dangerous. I do think because of the media, girls have so much more access to see whats seductive now then in the past and that its important that parents teach their children to not grow up too fast.
