In the photo “Fraternal Twins Tell It All”, symbolizes that no matter what gender you are whether it’s a boy or a girl shows how children communicate and learn by playing with toys. For example, two fraternal twins are playing with different toys. The boy on the left is building with a block, and the girl on the right is playing with a toy truck. Children can play with any toy of their choosing, and their choice does not necessarily preclude their preference as they get older. Adult’s stereotype is children do not play with toys that are available or are within reach without regard whether it is gender appropriate. In this picture my statement is supported by the following photographic characteristics Such as color, background, and the circumstances. For example, the color yellow represents joy, happiness, and, which is in the toy truck that the girl is playing with and on the hammer that the boy is playing with. Also, the color pink signifies purity and innocence in a little girl. Next, the color red on the toy truck and on the block shows me that there is energy and strong emotion occurs in the photograph. Lastly, the bright green symbolizes that there is simplicity and comfort around which is a major role in a child’s play area. I choose the background to be mute because the main focus is on the boy and the girl playing. For example, the boy has no clothes, and is playing with a block and a hammer. The girl is positioned in the foreground of the photo. Her hair is highlighted; she is wearing bright clothes and shoes, and is playing with a colorful toy. Even though the girl has her own toy, she is concentrating on her brother.

This picture is very unique. I think getting fraternal twins is genious in demonstrating teaching prefrences and gender labels as social demands.I think that the clothes these children have and dont have on is important. The boy is wearing nothing but a diaper however the little girl is fully clothed. This to me is a symbol of the boy maybe being alittle more free. Also the girl has such bright colors on. I did notice the toys are very different. The boy is playing with a more manly toy and the girl playing with a more feminie toy representing just how aware children are of the socially prescribed nature of the kinds of toys they play with.
I honestly thought at first that these were both girls. Since fraternal twins can be the same sex, before I read your description, I thought these were same sex children. You could have went a completely different route with your description. Even though they are different sex twins, you could have decided not to tell us and say they are both girls.
First, you could have described how non-traditional parents could be treating these girls to behave ambiguously. Both toys they are playing with are "masculine" (building and a truck). The green of the girl's shirt could also show no gender bias because green is not a "girl" color nor a "boy" color. One of the girls not having clothes could have also meant that the parents were letting her behave/look more like a boy since boy babies are more likely not shirted. All of this would relate to how parents influence the way gender is constructed in young children. Also, if they were the same sex, you could have shown how children are influenced by their same sex peers. The girl on the right could be influenced by the girl on the left, which may have affected her decision to play with a boy toy also.
Since they are different sexes, you could have added that the girl seems to have a disconnect with her masculine toy. This may be because she is playing with a "boy" toy and would rather have a girl toy and her parents usually give her girl toys to play with. I also noticed that the parents are not in the picture trying to take the truck away from the girl. This enforces her socialization because she is not being "punished" for playing with a toy that is gender inappropriate.
